Bio

I am thrilled to have joined the Centennial team and to have a larger role in the community where I live.  It brings a smile to my face when I see students and their families at the library, the grocery store, or walking on one of our many beautiful paths.  Relationships are important to me and I feel strongly that partnerships with families and community are one of the bedrocks of a successful school.

Early prevention, for behavior and academics, is one of my core beliefs for impacting student growth and achievement.  The sooner we can identify a challenge and put plans in place to address it, the better chance a child has of experiencing success.  I aspire to be a leader who fosters innovation, collaboration, and engagement in students and staff through modeling, questioning, and a growth mindset.

My 14+ years of experience as a classroom teacher, an interventionist, and an instructional coach, as well as obtaining my master’s degree in Educational Leadership, have led me to this point in my career.   I look forward to partnering with each of you as we strive to make Centennial a place where children, families, and teachers can learn and grow to be their best.
