Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS)

Hello Families! Centennial Huskies have been working very hard at demonstrating their positive behavior here at school. We notice students who are showing off Trust, Respect, Attitude, Cooperation and Keeping Safe by giving out TRACKS, Pawsitive Purple Office Referrals and Golden Paws (from our substitute teachers). We are SO proud to announce that every class met their goals surrounding behavior for last month and they all earned something special in their classrooms as a reward. Keep up the great work, Huskies!!

Drop-Off/Pick-Up Reminders

  • We ask that everyone uses the crosswalk at the front of our building to walk students to class. Please note that there is not a crosswalk at the end of our parking lot.
  • If parking in our lot, park in a dedicated parking space.
  • If you are using the drop-off/pick-up lane, please drive past the sign in our car line that says “Student Drop Off ” before allowing your child(ren) to get out or into your car.
  • Continue to move forward in the drive line, guided by the adults waving everyone on.
  • The bus loop is not a drop off lane and do not walk across the bus loop.
  • Playground Before & After School
Please help us remind your student(s) that the playground area is unavailable before and after school.  We do not have the proper supervision for students on the playground during these times and want to avoid any possible injury. Thank you!
  • Pets are not allowed on school property! We ask that all furry friends are left at home please!

We appreciate all of your support with drop-off and pick-up in order for it to run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Thank you for your help!

Please take a moment to scan the QR code above to learn about the traffic safety being enforced in Neighbors Point.

A Note from the Principal:

Dear Centennial students and families,

Thank you for your partnership and supporting the academic growth, safety, and well-being of our students. Every year, St. Vrain Valley Schools prints an up-to-date version of the Code of Conduct for students and families to review. This important document guides students and school staff on what expectations for school conduct and the consequences for behaviors that fall outside of those expectations. It is important that families review this information every year and acknowledge their receipt and understanding of this document.

To this end, please click here to access an electronic version of the Code of Conduct for the current school year. After you have reviewed this information, all families must sign an electronic acknowledgement that they have received, read, and understand the information contained, including the Annual Notification to Parents/Guardians; Behavioral Code of Conduct; Rights and Responsibilities of Students and Parents; and Board of Education Policies book. To sign your electronic acknowledgement, please follow the steps described here.

Again, thank you for your continued partnership and support. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected].

Sincerely,

Jennifer Byxbe, Principal
