I am thankful for the opportunity to serve our amazing learning community as the Gifted and Talented Specialist. My initial degree is a B.S. in Speech Communication from the University of Texas at Austin. I followed up that degree with additional studies in education and obtained my Elementary Education Certification. Additionally, I earned a Special Education Master of Arts degree with a focus on Gifted Education through the University of Northern Colorado. I taught for nine years in Texas prior to our family’s move to Colorado, and I was fortunate to join the staff of Centennial Elementary in the fall of 2018. I love teaching and collaborating with others to provide the best learning experiences possible for all of our students.
