PTO NEWS
Fundraising for the Centennial FUNd Run has officially kicked off! We have had a great start but we are still a long way from our goal. The FUNd Run is the only fundraiser that the PTO has during the year to help raise money for Centennial. Every dollar the PTO earns goes directly back to the school.
Here’s how you can support Centennial Elementary:
- 1. Register on mybooster.com tonight.
- 2. Share about our fundraiser with your family and friends using the SHARE BUTTON on mybooster.com.
- 3. Give a donation, if you are able.
Thank you for supporting our school! We can’t wait for the Centennial FUNd run happening on 04/05/2023!
4th & 5th Grade: 11:45-12:45
K & 1st: 1:00-2:00
2nd & 3rd: 2:15-3:15
We are also in need of some parent volunteers to help organize the students and tally their laps. Use the signup genius below to sign up to help. You can sign up during your child’s time slot and cheer them on at the same time!

Career Day
Centennial Elementary School will be hosting a Career Day on April 27th! We are excited to give our 4th and 5th grade students a close-up view of different possible career paths. Through this process, 4th and 5th grade students will take an interest survey, and then explore careers they are interested in. As students begin thinking of where their passions lie, they begin to make connections between the real world and their daily learning.
On Career Day, community members and leaders will share insights about their careers and the necessary education and training for career success. Our students will interact with these adults as they explore the different booths set up in the gymnasium. They will be invited to ask questions and consider which careers pique their interests.
Volunteers needed! We are hoping to find two businesses from each of the career clusters (see Colorado Career Cluster Model) to participate in our Career Day. This model categorizes all careers into one of six categories listed below;
- Agriculture, Natural Resources & Energy
- Business, Marketing & Public Administration
- Hospitality, Human Services & Education
- Health Science, Criminal Justice & Public Safety
- Skilled Trades & Technical Sciences
- STEM, Arts, Design & Information Technology
Agriculture, Natural Resources & Energy
If you think you might be interested in participating by setting up a table (or booth) during our Career Day, please fill out our quick survey.
Again, we can only facilitate two businesses per category (on the Career Cluster). Thank you for your interest in our Career Day, and thank you in advance for your understanding about the limited number of businesses we can facilitate.
