Welcome to the Centennial Library. We have a wide selection of books, magazines, periodicals, and audio books for your children to choose from. Due to the MESA focus of our school, our Non-Fiction section is one of the largest school collections in the state of Colorado! Your student will come to library once a week, on their MESA day. Grade levels come on the same day as each other, for 45 minutes each. Monday - 2nd. Grade, Kinder'sTuesday - 3rd. GradeWednesday - 5th. Grade (including late starts)Thursday - 4th. GradeFriday - 1st. Grade and Kinder The first 15 minutes of our library time consists of reading a book together, or doing a lesson. Here at Centennial we strongly concentrate on citing sources and library skills. Students usually get a half and hour of check out time and then have several choices. We also do "open" library time everyday from: 9:00 to 9:15 and 3:00 to 3:30. Students are allowed to exchange a book if they: didn't like it, finished it (LOVE when that happens!), or forgot their book on their library day. The library door is always open, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. It is a privilege to share my day with your children.
