My name is Rebekah Biermann and I am so excited to welcome you to first grade! I graduated from The University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Early Childhood Education Disciplinary Studies. I've been teaching for over 13 years, with 11 of those years in kindergarten and first grade. First grade is one of my favorite places to be! I love watching how much growth students make in just one year. It’s such a special time in their learning journey and I feel lucky to be a part of it. In our classroom we work hard and have fun.

When I am not teaching you can find me cheering on the sidelines, running around the lake, cooking a new dish or shopping at my favorite store. My big family brings me so much joy and laughter and much of my time is spent together. I am a big fan of just about any sport; but a HUGE husker fan! GO BIG RED!

I believe learning should be exciting and engaging and I love creating a space where students feel supported, challenged and celebrated. I’m passionate about building strong relationships with my students and their families and I can not wait to get to know each of you!
