About Book Fair eWallet
Give your child a safe, cashless way to shop at the Book Fair. This digital payment option can be used at the in-school Book Fair or online at the Virtual Book Fair, where you’ll discover an expanded selection of over 5,000 products. Plus, every purchase benefits our school!
How It Works
– Create an account for each child
– Add funds
– Invite family and friends to contribute
– Shop the Book Fair
– Spend unused funds online or fund an eWallet for your next Fair!
After the Fair, remaining eWallet funds are not returned to a credit card but instead, become a gift card balance that can be used online with Scholastic or to fund an eWallet for a future Book Fair. Be sure to sign in with the same email used to create the eWallet.

Attendance
Our current attendance rate is 94.74% which is an increase from the past 2 weeks. We are working toward a 95% or higher attendance rate. Thank you to the 441 students who have consistently had a 90% or higher attendance rate. A friendly reminder to reach out to Mrs. Coniglio – [email protected] or Mrs. Byxbe – [email protected] if your student will be out of school for an extended amount of time. Thank you for your dedication to having your student at school each day!

PBIS – Positive Behavior Interventions & Support
59 students earned Purple PAWSitive office referrals for the month of October!! Way to go, Huskies!! We will be celebrating student achievements and calling for Class PAWS at our Late Start assembly next Wednesday to see if we have earned our school-wide reward.
November Focus: Listening to One Another
Did you know that we ask our students how they feel as a student at our school? We then use this feedback from students to determine our monthly focuses and programs. We noticed that an area students want to continue to grow in is how students can listen to one another. We will begin sharing some ideas/tips on our daily announcements for how students can continue to show active listening skills toward one another and during Husky Huddles teachers will be talking about this, too.
A Note from the Counselor:
“Over the past six weeks, our students have been actively participating in small Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) groups, focusing on important skills to help them grow personally and socially. Each grade level has explored topics tailored to their developmental needs:
- Kindergarten: Leadership vs. Bossiness – learning how to guide peers respectfully and take initiative without dominating.
- 1st Grade: Self-Control – practicing patience, managing emotions, and making positive choices.
- 2nd Grade: Impulse Control – understanding how to pause and think before acting, improving decision-making skills.
- 3rd Grade: Self and Impulse Control, Active Listening –making positive choices, understanding how to pause and think before acting, learn to pay attention, respond thoughtfully, and strengthen communication.
- 4th Grade: Friendship Skills and Cooperation – building healthy relationships, sharing, and working effectively with peers.
- 5th Grade: Teamwork, Flexibility, and Meeting New People – developing collaboration skills and confidence in social interactions.
We are excited to announce that the Winter SEL session will kick off next week! Students will have the opportunity to explore additional topics chosen by their teachers to continue fostering growth, positive relationships, and social-emotional success.”
Best,
Michelle Lawrence
