Attendance

Our attendance rate is 94.25%. We have one last push until the end of the school year to make it to 96% so we can slime Mrs. Byxbe/Mrs. Coniglio before they leave. Let’s do this, Huskies!! Congratulations to Mrs. Woelfle’s class who earned a Rootbeer Float Party for the highest attendance for our March/April Madness Competition!

PBIS – Positive Behavior Interventions & Support

Our monthly focus for May will be Finish STRONG! Students will be testing in the next few weeks to demonstrate everything they have learned. When the end is near, at times, it can be hard to stay motivated and show up. We’ve got to come to school every day and give that 100% all the way until our last day together.

We will call for Class PAWS at our last Late Start assembly next week and if we meet our goals, we will have Centennial’s Rendition of Masked Reader (similar to the tv show – Masked Singer) brought to us by some special guests. We continue to celebrate students when they visit the office for earning Purple PAWSitive office referrals. At our Late Start Assembly, we will also be celebrating students who have been working hard in our CICO (Check In/Check Out Program) this year.

May the Force Be With You: STEM Night is Coming

Calling all Padawans, Engineers, and Droid-builders! We are thrilled to invite you to this year’s STEM Night. Since this year’s event falls on May 4th, we are fully embracing the theme: Star Wars! Be sure to come in your favorite Star Wars Costume (please leave light sabers at home!!) This isn’t just an event to attend—it’s an event to create. We want our students to lead the way by showcasing their ingenuity and imagination.

How Can Your Student Participate?

  • The Student Design Guild: Students can present creative solutions to real-world problems they’ve tackled.
  • STEM Carnival Games: Students can design and build their very own carnival games to be played by friends and family during the event.
  • Come and play!  You can also just show up and explore everything the Innovation Center has to offer!

We can’t wait to see the incredible “Force” of our students’ creativity on display.  “May the 4th be with you!”

To make it as easy as possible, we have provided a flyer (in English & Spanish) you can share with parents, and we created copy/paste content you can include in your emails/newsletters and on your social media accounts. ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool

St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.

After spring break, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.

Visit the district website to learn more about ParentSquare
